Privacy policy
Reflectr (“we”, “us”) provides a Windows app and this website. This policy describes what we collect and why.
Who we work with
Clerk handles sign-in (email, name, and identifiers when you use Google or other providers). See Clerk’s privacy policy and DPA.
Stripe processes payments; we do not store full card numbers on our servers. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
What we collect
- Account id — We store your Clerk user id to tie purchases and activations to your account.
- Device activation — When you activate Reflectr on a PC, we store a hash of a device fingerprint and timestamps so we can issue and verify your license for that machine. We do not intend to use this for advertising.
- Server logs — Our hosting may log IP addresses and request metadata for security and debugging. We keep this only as long as needed for those purposes.
Local data on your PC
The Reflectr app may store an encrypted entitlement token on your device (for example under your user profile) so you can use the software after activation without staying online.
Cookies
This site uses cookies and similar technologies required for sign-in and checkout (for example session cookies from Clerk). We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this site.
Your choices
You may contact us to ask questions about this policy or to request access or deletion where applicable. Some requests may be limited by law or legitimate business needs (for example payment records retained for tax and fraud prevention).
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
